The History of Meacham Law Firm

Meacham Law Firm prides itself in a deep tradition of excellence. We have been serving Clinton and the surrounding communities since 1918. We have a rich history of practicing law in the great State of Oklahoma.

Bert Meacham graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1918 and moved to Clinton where he started Meacham Law Firm. His brothers, George and Alvin, graduated shortly after Bert and soon the three brothers formed the law firm Meacham, Meacham, & Meacham.

Seven additional Meacham family members have graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and one from Tulsa University College of Law for a total of 12 Meacham family members who have practiced law in the State of Oklahoma.

Randy Meacham joined the family firm in the late 1970's. His son, Ryan, joined him in 2005. Together they carry on the Meacham legacy in serving the community of Clinton and those communities that surround it.

RANDY MEACHAM

Randy was admitted to the bar in 1972 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma for both his preparatory and legal education. He has served as the City Attorney for both the City of Duncan and City of Clinton. Randy has also served on the Judicial Nominating Commission (1979 - 1984), the Oklahoma Professional Liability Insurance Company Board (1988 - 1994) and was named the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Section’s Advocate of the Year in 2007.

RYAN MEACHAM

Ryan was admitted to the Bar in 2003 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma for both his preparatory and legal education. After graduation, he focused on Insurance Defense and Plaintiff’s work in Oklahoma City. Since moving back to his hometown of Clinton, he has broadened his practice to include Municipal Law, Family Law and Estate Planning. He currently serves as the municipal attorney for the City of Clinton, Town of Custer City, Town of Mooreland, and Town of Vici.

Ryan was named a Rising Star by Lawyers Magazine in 2009 and briefed the following published opinions for Oklahoma Appellate Courts:
